    In this game, you can experiment with the amount of producers (plants) and consumers (animals) in an ecosystem, but you cannot change the nonliving components of the ecosystem, such as sunlight, rainfall, and temperature.

2. What ecosystems do these animals belong to?


A. Tundra Ecosystem
Located in the Arctic and Alpine regions, tundra ecosystems have the coldest environments, with temperatures ranging as low as -70 degrees Fahrenheit. (https://sciencing.com/animals-live-ecosystem-8173334.html)




B. Grassland ecosystem: prairies and savannas. Grasses cover most of the land with only a few or no trees at all growing in the region.A good home for herbivores. 






C. Tundra Ecosystem, (Subalpine ecosystem). Alpine regions; Mountain goat

D. Freshwater: Pond / Marine ecosystems. Pond animals include frogs, fishes, birds, snakes, insects, turtles and microscopic organisms.

Weekly Plan 18th February

This week you will need to get ready for the Exhibition Day. Please, pay extra time studying your ecosystems lesson. Here you have a list of names of animals you should learn and identify their ecosystems.


a) Write full sentences using the plural form of these animal names, explaining which ecosystems they belong to.

b) Find images of these animals and write them in a presentation, showing 4 sentences in each page.
